Glowing skin
Your skin is the largest organ in your body and though it has “magical” properties that help it heal its self, it is your duty to help it out as often as you can. Women are in general very aware of the fact that they need to have a safe skin care regime in place, but today’s man is also taking care of his skin and is not afraid to say so. There are many safe skin care products in the market and many even claim they have the fountain of youth and their products make time stand still. But this is not true and what ever you do you are going to age and this will be reflected on your skin. The trick is to maintain a healthy life style of the body and mind.
Here are few things that can help
Be positive
Are you afraid of crow’s feet, or lines around the mouth or wrinkles on the forehead? Then the best way to avoid them is to be happy, the more you frown or look dissatisfied, the more you will get worry lines on your face. Being happy also releases endorphins in your body which you keep young and beautiful.
Healthy Diet
As they say for beautiful skin it is best that you work from the inside. What you put into your stomach will be shown on your skin. Eating the right food for you, especially which is rich in omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins C, E, A, K, and B complex can help improve not only your hair and skin but your overall skin quality as well. Vitamin A can be found in carrots and is extremely good in fighting wrinkles. Vitamin C which is found in most citrus fruits like lemon, oranges, tangerines, grape fruit etc is great as it help increase your immunity, thus fighting acne and pimples. Vitamin C reduces the damage done by free radicals which are responsible for reducing your collagen and elastin which result in loose skin and thus wrinkles. Vitamin K is the vitamin that helps your blood clot, but it does no real good from the inside, though studies have shown that topical use of a gel with Vitamin K can reduce dark circles. Vitamin B Complex is extremely important as it helps in formulating the nutrients that form the base of your hair cells, skin and nails. A deficiency of this vitamin can result in hair loss and even itchy scaly skin. Biotin is the vitamin B that your body needs and it can be found in bananas, rice, egg and oatmeal. All of these vitamins are used in making body and face lotions, gels, masks, scrubs, etc. Also make sure you eat a diet healthy in iron and fibers and this increases your immunity and the fiber helps the body get rid of toxins. So when you are buying beauty products make sure they have at lease some of these nutrients. Otherwise the best way is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
Water
Water is considered to an element that can give life to anything. Your body is made up of 75% water and so it is important that you keep your body hydrated at all times. 8-10 glasses of pure water not mixed with anything should be consumed everyday. This helps the body get rid of the toxic build up that happens in your body everyday. You should start your day with a glass of warm water with a dash of lime in it. This helps kick start your body metabolism and helps clear out your intestines. This helps extremely if you are suffering from acne and pimple problems.
